The first 1-3 sessions are charged at the usual rate and are for the purpose of assessing the needs, and allocating the necessary assessments suited to the assessment request. Cancellation fees are charged as per the consultant’s usual hourly rates.
- Testing quotes will be issued as an invoice and sent by our administration team, and exclude the costs of the 1-3 sessions needed to assess and determine testing requirements. Testing quotes include the assessment appointments, the report if required and a feedback session face to face.
- A minimum of 50% of the total relevant fee is paid by cash or debit/credit card at the time of making the booking (although 100% prepayment is preferred).
- The balance fee is payable 7 days before the appointment, or the appointment will be rescheduled. Rescheduled appointments maybe 4-12 weeks later as we cannot determine the availability of your psychologist when appointments are rescheduled.
- In the event that a testing appointment is cancelled/rescheduled less than 1 calendar week before the scheduled testing appointment, a cancellation fee of $500 from the total fee will be charged. This fee must be paid before a rescheduled appointment is booked.
- Fees for testing services and associated reports vary dependent on the nature of the test being undertaken and the type of clinician administering the test. Quotes are determined after initial attendance and sent as an invoice quote after the 1-3 sessions for intake are attended.
- Third-party providers: Full payment from third-party providers are kindly requested upon receipt of our Tax Invoice and before any feedback is given or test results and any associated reports are released
- Psychological assessments require many steps. It is not possible to do this quickly or before the necessary processes and data collection steps are taken. Once you have attended the initial 1-3 sessions, the client will need to attend the assessment appointments. The psychologist will require up to 8 weeks to complete the report. The timely completion of the report is dependent on teachers providing the psychologist-requested information. Typically, teachers can take over a month to do so and our psychologists require an additional couple of weeks to complete the report. Therefore, you should book the final feedback session face to face 8 weeks after the assessment to receive the report and feedback. If the report is completed sooner, we will advise and give you the option to bring your feedback session forward.
- Psychological assessment reports: Please note that assessment reports will not be provided before you have attended a feedback session with your psychologist. This is to ensure that the report is able to be explained in detail and that you have the opportunity to ask questions and clarify anything that is unclear. For your convenience feedback sessions can be provided face to face or by video, or telephone call. As feedback sessions are a necessary part of the treatment process, the cost of the treatment feedback session must be paid in advance and cannot be refunded if not attended.
