Peer consultation is a mandatory requirement of continuing professional development for all registered psychologists in Australia in order to maintain their registration.
A psychologist must obtain a minimum of 10 hours of peer consultation each year.
I am happy to offer supervision to counsellors and psychologists working with children, teenagers, young people and their families.
I have worked as a Child and Adolescent psychologist for many years, in services/settings such as:
- Hospitals/Health (Developmental Service and Type 1 Diabetes Service)
- Education (College Psychologist)
- Disability
- Private Practice
- Non for profit
- Governmental Department (Child Safety)
Supervision may include:
- Case reviews
- Professional self-care
- Ethical issues
- Psychoeducation
- Strategies for interventions
- Reflecting on your own practice etc
So, if you are after a Registered Psychologist with more than 20 years’ experience working with young people in many different settings on many different issues, feel free to book your peer consultation online.
