Deposit Policy
At Vision Psychology, we prioritize providing exceptional care to all our clients. We have implemented a deposit policy to enhance scheduling efficiency and minimize no-shows or late cancellations. This policy ensures that appointments run smoothly throughout the day. A deposit of 25% will be collected at the time of booking, which will be deducted from your total fee after attending this appointment.
Deposit Fee Amount and Purpose
A deposit fee of 25% of a clinician’s usual fees, will be charged at the time of booking an appointment, which is applied towards your total fee when attending this appointment. This deposit fee serves as a commitment to the scheduled appointment.
A deposit fee of 25% is needed for each appointment booked if more than one appointment is required.
Booking Process
Select Appointment: Choose a suitable appointment time through our booking platform.
Provide Information: Enter your relevant information to secure the appointment.
Pay the Deposit Fee: Make a secure payment of 25% of the usual fee for the clinician. The fee will come off the total when you attend the appointment.
OR when you call us to book, our friendly staff will help you choose a clinician and book in for you. Please have your card ready for payment of the deposit fee, which will be applied towards your appointment fee, when you attend.
Refund Policy for Deposit Fee
Early Cancellation (48 hours or more before the appointment): The deposit fee is fully refundable or may be allocated to a rescheduled appointment.
Late Cancellation or Non-Attendance (Same day and up to 48 hours before the appointment): The deposit fee is non-refundable.
Rescheduling
Reschedule more than 48 hours before the appointment: The deposit fee will be transferred to the new appointment.
Reschedule within 48 hours of the appointment: The deposit fee will be retained, and a new deposit fee will be required for the rescheduled appointment.
Extenuating Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you encounter a situation such as a medical emergency, sudden illness, bereavement, or other circumstances beyond your control, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.
No-Shows
Clients who do not attend appointments without notifying us will be considered no-shows.
No-shows will be charged the full session fee and you will not be permitted to rebook until the no show fee AND the deposit fee for the next appointment has been paid.
Payment Methods
We accept payment for the deposit fee through major credit/debit cards and secure online payment platforms.
Reminder System
Our automated appointment reminders via email, text message, or phone call are designed to help you remember your appointments and minimize the likelihood of no-shows.

Cancellation Fee Policy
At Vision Psychology, we strive to provide quality care and maintain an organized schedule for all our clients. Our cancellation policy is designed to ensure that appointments run smoothly and that ALL clients receive the attention they deserve. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy.
Cancellation Timeframes
- Early Cancellation: Appointments cancelled 48 hours or more prior to the scheduled time will not incur any penalty. We encourage you to reschedule at your convenience and your booking fee will be used for your next appt.
- Late Cancellation: Appointments cancelled on the day or up to 48 hours of the scheduled time will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee that is based on the advertised fee for the clinician. Another booking fee will need to be paid to secure another appointment. Rebates are not able to be used with cancellation fees or booking fees.

- Call our reception during business hours (07) 3088 5422. Leave a voice message if no one answers.
- Send an email to reception@visionpsychology.com
- Respond with a reply text message to our confirmation text.
Extenuating Circumstances.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you encounter a situation such as a medical emergency, sudden illness, bereavement, or other circumstances beyond your control. If you think you are falling sick, it is better to reschedule than risk a cancellation fee. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation. We will assess each case individually and may consider exceptions to the cancellation policy.
Rescheduling
We encourage you to reschedule appointments rather than cancel them whenever possible. However, rescheduling is subject to availability, so we recommend contacting us well in advance to secure a new appointment time.
No-Shows
Clients who fail to attend appointments without notifying us will be considered no-shows. No-shows will be charged the full session fee and you will not be permitted to rebook until the no show fee AND the booking fee for the next appointment is paid. To avoid unnecessary charges, please notify us, in accordance with this policy, if you are unable to attend your appointment.
Payment and Refunds
Upon early cancellation, any prepayment will be applied to your rescheduled appointment OR refunded within 3-4 days. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the deduction of the applicable fees from the prepayment.

We provide automated appointment reminders via email, text message, or phone call. These reminders aim to help you remember your appointments and reduce the likelihood of late cancellations or no-shows.
